Club Social Life

The Club holds a number of events, social activities and fundraisers throughout the year.

Pictured above is President John Ainsworth and his wife Sue, one of The Clubs greatest volunteers, who works tirelessly for The Club preparing raffle gift baskets, keeping the Trading Table fully and beautifully stocked as well as frequently catering for Club events. Sue was awarded an Amanda Rishworth Southern Volunteer Award for 2024.

The Club celebrated its many volunteers on Sunday, March 17th.
This annual event acknowledges voluntary contributions by Members who give their time to provide important services for a wide range of services to Members, visitors and club hirers.
Activities include grounds maintenance, officials on game days, Night Owls, fundraising, coaching,
School Bowls Program, selectors, bar persons and many more.

Weekly Friday Night Dinners

From 5:00-8.00pm are provided by Chief Catering with an a la Carte Menu. Just walk in and order.

Annual Events

include Christmas Dinner, Melbourne Cup Lunch & horse races, Cancer Research Fundraisers, Volunteer recognition event and others which are advertised in advanced.

Lazy Sunday Afternoons

featuring a variety of local bands and music are scheduled monthly. Food is available and the Bar open. Usually 1:00-5:00pm.

Blues Festival

Events are held annually at The Club with food and bar available.

The South Coast Folk Club

meet weekly on Thursdays from 6:00-9:30pm for open sessions.

Our Social Committee

arranges day trips, mystery activities, fashion parades and more.
